The Prestige Deluxe Cover offers a 2" X 4" 1lb density Tapered Foam core. Heavy duty marine grade vinyl covering. Standard 2 mil perma liner wraps the foam cores to help protect from water absorption. Color matched handles with boxed X pattern sewing for added strength, 4" x 4" Steam Stoppers at the seam.

Foam Core Thickness Upgrade:
Go from the standard 1lb density 2" x 4" thick tapered foam core to a 1lb density 5" x 3" thick Tapered Foam core for added strength, durability and "R" Value.

For even more strength, durability and "R" Value upgrade to a 1lb density 6" x 4" thick tapered foam core.

5" x 3" 1lb foam upgrade raises the "R" value of the cover to approx. R15 value
6" x 4" 1lb foam upgrade raises the "R" value of the cover to approx. R17 Value
2lb foam density upgrade added to the 6" x 4" foam upgrade raises the "R" value of the cover to approx. R19 Value.
A higher R-value signifies better insulation performance, meaning the material is more effective at slowing down heat transfer.
Foam Core Density Upgrade:
Go from 1lb to 2lb density foam for better "R" value and strength.

Hint: If you want a Walk-On Spa Cover, Order the 2lb Foam density upgrade and the 6" x 4" foam thickness upgrade. This will allow the cover to hold approx. 250 lbs of weight.
The bottom of the cover is made of a solid vinyl layer with weeping holes to allow the cover to drain any water and to help keep the cover dry so it does not get soggy and musty smelling. The foam itself is wrapped in a standard 2 mil. plastic liner to resist water absorption.
Foam Core Plastic Perma Liner Upgrade:
This heavy duty perma-liner upgrade wraps the foam cores in a protective 4 mil. chemical resistant plastic that repels harsh chemicals and moisture, which makes your cover last longer.

4" x 4" Steam Stoppers to prevent heat from getting out of the cover through the center fold.
Extra Long Steam Stopper Upgrade:
Instead of one 4" steam stopper at each end of the seam, This steam stopper upgrade is one entire piece that fills the void along the seam, which helps cut heating costs.

For added strength, A Non-Rusting Aluminum Center Channel is inserted into both pieces of foam insulation
to strengthen the cover’s center and provide extra strong support to help resist sagging across the entire center fold of the cover.
